Frickley Athletic Community Foundation

Frickley Athletic Community Foundation (FACF) was established 1st May 2018 with the aim of bringing the SESKU community more together with varies activities.
We work in many local schools and our school work continues to grow as we offer many different sports to suit each schools need and requirements. Every school holiday we run a football camp for 5 to 12 year olds to attend these have been hugely successful with over 200 kids in total attending the camps to date. We run the Girls only football, the Wildcats programme supported by the Football Association, this offering local girls aged 5 to 11 the chance to be coached in football in a supportive and fun environment.

We have recently started offering movement to music to local care homes and independent living schemes, this offering exercise to those with less mobility but still giving them the opportunity to exercise which is vital at any age. We have supported Frickley Athletic Football Club in becoming a Dementia supportive club, we supported the staff and directors through the course so those suffering can still attend matches and will be supported on their visit.
There are lots of exciting new ventures starting in the Foundation over the next few months, walking football, buggy walk and talk and we will be opening up our own gym which will be open and timetabled for everyone to access in a supportive and relaxed environment.
We want to make this a community to be proud of. If you have any suggestions to how we can support the community then please contact;
